Uniform

The wearing of school uniform by pupils is compulsory at St. Mary’s. Our uniform consists of the following items:

Boys

Winter

  • Grey trousers
  • White shirt* with school tie
  • Royal blue v-neck jumper
  • Black/grey socks
  • Black school shoes (preferably velcro or buckle fastening for younger children)

Summer

  • Grey trousers - long or short
  • White shirt with school tie or
    White polo shirt with school logo
  • Royal blue v-neck jumper
  • Black/grey socks
  • Black school shoes

Girls

Winter

  • Grey skirt, pinafore or trousers
  • White blouse* with school tie
  • Royal blue cardigan or jumper
  • White socks, grey or black tights
  • Black school shoes

Summer

  • Royal blue and white gingham dress or White blouse with school tie or White polo shirt with school logo
  • Royal blue cardigan or jumper
  • Grey skirt, pinafore or trousers
  • White socks
  • Black school shoes or sensible sandals

*Nursery children can wear a white polo shirt instead of a white shirt/blouse and tie.

 UNIFORM SAFETY RULES

School shoes should be black with a low heel. Fashion shoes, boots and trainers are unacceptable.

Jewellery, including rings, should not be worn to school as accidents can occur. If your child has pierced ears, only small studs should be worn in the interest of safety. It must be noted that for Health and Safety reasons earrings must not be worn during PE lessons and we request that your child does not wear earrings to school on PE days.

Long hair should be tied back at all times.

PE KIT

Boys and Girls:
Plain white t-shirt with school logo,
blue or black shorts
blue sweatshirt (no hood)
blue or black jogging bottoms (optional)
black plimsolls/trainers. 

Please ensure that all of your child's clothing, and PE bag, is clearly named or labelled.
Nursery children do not wear a PE kit.
